Jupiter Ascending

Staring: Mila Kunis and Channing Tatum
Written and Directed By: The Wachowski
Released: Feb 2015

Jupiter (Kunis) is born without a Father and Country, living as an illegal immigrant in Chicago, working as a cleaner with her Mother and Aunt, when she is suddenly flung into a world where her life is in danger and only Kane (Tatum) can help her survive. With alien cross-breads, a love story, assassination attempts and sibling rivalry, this movie is a whirl wind of amazing visual effects and in my opinion a great sci-fi film.

I really enjoyed the film, it was a bit slow at certain parts, but I loved it. The one thing I will say, to the women who was sitting a couple of seats down from, why do you keep laughing? It was a fight scene? It was distracting.

Lets get down to ratings:
Out of 5, I give it:
Rotten Tomato critics give it: 4.1/10

Should you go see it?
Yes, but only if you enjoy sci-fi/fantasy movies, that have quite a lot of action scenes.

Would you buy this on dvd?
I probably won’t buy it, but when it eventually ends up on Netflix, I will definitely watch it again.

And I will leave you with this:
Me as Jupiter-Ascending

(I make a bad ass Jupiter, if I don’t say so myself)
