Staring: Will Smith and Margot Robbie
Written and Directed By: Glenn Ficarra and John Requa
Releasing: 27th Feb 2015

I went to an unlimited screening of Focus last night. (Cineworld sometimes has a preview screenings, for cineworld unlimited card owners)

Focus is about a grifter Nicky (Smith) and Jess (Robbie), the intern, who gets to learn all the tricks from the best in the business. But the one thing she has to learn is how can you tell when a con artist is telling the truth?

I did laugh a lot during this movie (there are some great moments), and Smith and Robbie have great chemistry together. But the story line is a little obscure. I felt I never really got into the story, because I didn’t really know what was going on. But at the same time, I kind of liked that, because you never see the full picture until the end. Kind of like being conned (get in, because the movie is about a con artist, it’s funny).

Lets get down to ratings:
Out of 5, I give it:

Should you go see it?
I would recommend this film to anyone who likes movies with twist endings, and who is a fan of “con” movies.

And I will leave you with this:
Me and Will Smith
(Will and I look so good together, don’t you think?)
