I really would have preferred if they called this movie The Mrs Clause, would have been a lot funnier.
After nearly 10 years of being the best Santa ever seen, Santa finds out there was a second Clause: the Mrs Clause. Santa has until Christmas Eve to marry unless he won’t be Santa anymore.
As with any sequel, it’s not as good as the original. The movie does have its good parts though, and I still enjoy this film. It was great seeing more of the North Pole and the elves.
The plot did annoy me a tad, given the fact it is very predictable. My mum guessed the whole plot line after starting to watch 20 minutes in. But I will let it off given the fact that most christmas movies are predictable and cheesy.
- When Charlie gets on the naughty list
- When Scott Calvin gives presents to the teachers that they loved as children
- Scott Calvin’s first date with a person who loves Christmas maybe more than Santa
Lets get down to ratings:
Out of 5 :
Should you go see it?
I would recommend this film as a great one to watch with the family. Though watch the first one first, it might be a tiny bit confusing if you don’t.
p.s. I also reviewed The Santa Clause
