This month is full of studying for my upcoming University Exams. This makes reading an extra important area of my life this month, because it helps me destress and escape my impending doom. Let’s do this:
Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan
This is the Perustopia bookclub book, so I will be re-reading this. I actually forgot I owned this book, and I am not entirely sure if I actually finished the series. I am pretty sure the first time I read this series, I only had the first one but my friend had them so I just borrowed them. Which will probably make me sad when I finish this and want to re-read the entire series.
True Born by L.E. Sterling
I recently joined Netgalley, and this was the first book that caught my attention. Its set in a dystopian future, where a plague has annihilated most of the world’s population. I love dystopian novels, so I cannot wait to read this.
Dragon in the Amber by Diana Gabaldon
The sequel to Outlander, which I loved, so obviously I had to read the second one. I was going to pick up more, and read them one after the other, but the storyline is quite heavy and the books are huge so I think I will ration myself to one a month. I believe this is set 20 years from when Outlander finished, so it will be interesting to see what has happened to Claire and Jamie in that time.
Me Before You by Jojo Moyes
I watched the trailer a month ago, and immediately wanted to watch the movie. Then I found it was based on a book, and I want to read it. Since then I have read and watched nothing but great reviews of this book. So I just had to get it when it was included in a buy one get another half price deal. All I know is a women takes care of disabled man, and feelings start to stir.
Second Chance Summer by Morgan Matson
I don’t really talk about it here, but I love youtube. And since I started getting into reading again at the start of the year, I also got into watching book tubers. I already read the perustopia book of the month, but now I have decided to join BOOKSPLOSION (see p.s. for reason).
Anyway so their book this month is Second Chance Summer and I honestly have no clue what it is about. But I trust that these guys have picked a great book (last months was Lady Midnight).
Scarlet by Marissa Meyer
I read the first book, Cinder, last month and I flew through it. So obviously I had to pick up the second one. I am not even sure which fairytale this is based off of (might be Beauty and the Beast), but I am so excited to see where this story leads.
I don’t really like reading the synopsis of books too much, because they sometimes give too much away. I also don’t like watching movie trailers (if the new Captain America one plays, I literally shut my eyes, cover my ears, and hum to myself until it is over). So that is why this post is full of vague explanations.
Are you reading any of the same books as me this month? Or have you already read any of these? I would love to know.

I love them separately and all together, I tend to agree with their opinions on books.
